Description
This piece began as a photograph I took in 2021 at the Sign Graveyard, documenting the quiet decay of vintage neon signage. The original Colored TV sign—once bright and commercial—has been reimagined as a bold, graphic artwork and brought back to life through traditional screen printing.
Using my original photo, I transformed the image into a print-ready design and screen printed each piece by hand using water-based inks on 4″x11″ heavy 100lb cardstock. No digital reproductions here—every print is pulled manually, resulting in subtle variations in ink and texture that make each one unique.
This artwork celebrates retro Americana, obsolete technology, and the strange beauty of signage that once defined the future.
Perfect for collectors of neon sign art, vintage typography, analog photography, and handmade screen prints. Works great in studios, music rooms, or anywhere that appreciates bold graphic nostalgia.
